Pride of the Lake Band Boosters

Our Mission

The Camdenton Marching Band is a youth organization that provides opportunities that promote and develop musical skills, life skills, and personal enrichment through education and self-reliance through self-accountability. It encourages teamwork and the importance of group over self, civic pride, and contributions of one's personal best to a unified group goal. These lessons are learned through a musical and marching activity in which there is a blending of the arts and athletics. The Pride of the Lake strives to not only produce dedicated and talented artists; but also self-sufficient, confident young people who have seen the positive effects that their behavior and talents have created. As an organization, The Pride of the Lake is a class-act that is constantly striving to build and maintain a culture of excellence. The drive for the organization comes from improving as a group, improving as individuals, being upstanding citizens, and performing for the audience first and foremost. Finally, The Pride of The Lake is a close family that spends a great deal of time together producing great music, learning life skills, and creating memories that will last a life-time.

Mike Fenn - Assistant Director

Michael Fenn, local man of mystery, is in his twenty-fifth year at Camdenton. At the middle school, he assists Amanda Fall with the eighth-grade band, and leads youngsters in the tremendous life choice of choosing either alto saxophone or French horn.

Under the direction of Semi-Maestro Fenn, the concert band has received "I" ratings off and on for a while now - he honestly does not remember how long it has been. The basketball pep band is the talk of the town, if the town were made up of only people who went to basketball games, and cared that there was a band there.

He lives for the days when he can head out on another crazy adventure with his great-dane and three of his friends, solving mysteries and unmasking bad guys.
