Dominic Zanaboni - Director of Bands

Dominic Zanaboni graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance in 2015 with a Bachelors in Music Education. Since graduating, Zanaboni has been the Director of Bands for the Spokane School District in southwest Missouri from 2015 to 2018. He currently serves as the Director of Bands for the Camdenton School District in Camdenton, MO. He oversees all curricular aspects of the program and conducts the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. He is responsible for the widely recognized Pride of The Lake Marching Band, teaches the beginner high brass class, and assists with the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, and 8th Grade Band. 

Zanaboni has been involved with Drum Corps International since 2008 as both a member and instructor. He was a member of the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps from 2008 to 2010 and Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps 2012 and 2013. He was a member of the Phantom Regiment instructional staff 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018 as a visual instructor and a member of Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps instructional staff as a brass instructor in 2016. In 2020 Zanaboni was awarded the Outstanding Young Music Educator for the state of Missouri. Zanaboni regularly provides his expertise in the marching arts and serves as a clinician for several groups throughout Missouri as well as a drill designer for several other Missouri band programs. He is an avid runner and periodically adjudicates marching band and concert festivals from time to time. He is happily married to the love of his life, Lauren Zanaboni, and they enjoy watching movies with their two cats Mojo and Percy and spending time with close friends and loved ones.

Amanda Fall - Director of Middle School Bands

Amanda Fall is in her 20th year of teaching and began her career in the Lebanon School District, having taught the past 16 years in the Camdenton R-3 School District. At Camdenton, her primary teaching responsibilities include assisting with the high school 'Pride of the Lake' Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band as well as leading the Camdenton Middle School Band Program including the Eighth Grade Band and beginning clarinet class. While under the direction of Mrs. Fall, Camdenton Eighth Grade Bands have consistently received straight I ratings at contest. She also has an active private lesson studio preparing woodwind students for solo and small ensemble festival at the district and state level.

Mrs. Fall received her Bachelor of Science in Instrumental Music Education degree from Northwest Missouri State University where she had the privilege of learning from outstanding musicians and teachers. Amanda's professional affiliations include Missouri Band Masters Association, Missouri Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Educators, Phi Beta Mu, and Kappa Kappa Psi. Amanda has also served as the South Central District Junior High Vice President, a Missouri All-State Band audition adjudicator, and has served on staff for the past several years for the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference held at the Lake of the Ozarks.  

During her time at Camdenton, Amanda has received the ‘Excellence in Education Award’ three times, has been named teacher of the month, and has been a finalist for teacher of the year.

Amanda and her husband Jason have been married 19 years and have one daughter, Gwyn (14).  In her spare time, she enjoys singing with the praise and worship team at The Potter's House Church of Camdenton as well as watching Gwyn participate in her many activities including art, theater, track, and of course-band.  The Fall family, including Marcie (the cat), live just outside of Camdenton.

Clayton Bunkley - Director of Percussion Studies

Clayton Bunkley was born in Poplar Bluff, but raised in Washington, Missouri. After graduating from Washington High School, Clayton attended East Central College (ECC) for two years before transferring to University of Missouri, St. Louis (UMSL). In May he will graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. During his career as a student at ECC and UMSL, he played in many ensembles including the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Orchestra. As part of the UMSL Percussion Ensemble, Clayton performed at several events including the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC) and Missouri Music Educators Association Conference (MMEA).

Outside of his own education, Clayton has taught fall marching percussion ensembles across the St. Louis and Franklin County areas. Groups he has worked with include Union High School, Washington High School, Marquette High School, and St. Charles West High School. Clayton was an active music and visual design staff member with the winter drumline and winter winds at Washington High School. During his time with these groups, they participated in Mid Continent Color Guard Association (MCCGA) Championships and Winter Guard International (WGI) Championships.

Clayton Bunkley’s parents are both retired teachers from the Washington School District. His father, Troy Bunkley, was the head band director and music department chair.  His mother, Julie Bunkley, was an elementary teacher and the high school guard director. Clayton was taught by each of his parents at some point in is educational career, and they have been a tremendous help throughout his life. He also has two younger brothers who are percussionists as well. Cameron, who is an Army Ranger Medic, and Colton, who is at Missouri State University pursuing a Music Education Degree. In his free time, Clayton enjoys being with friends and family, working out, listening to music, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Joe Presson - Assistant Director

Mr. Joe Presson is in his 9th year of teaching and his 3rd year at Camdenton. Mr. Presson has previously worked as Associate Director

of Bands for Branson Public Schools as well as Director of Bands for the Concordia High School Marching Orioles.

He received his Bachelor

of Music Education degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City Conservatory of Music in 2015 and his Masters of Music Education from the American Band College of Central Washington University in 2022.

He is a native of St. Louis, MO and an alumnus of the Lindbergh High School Spirit of St.Louis band program. He is a proud supporter of his favorite St. Louis sports teams - the Cardinals and the Blues. Outside of music, Mr. Presson coaches the Varsity Laker Golf team. In addition to band and golf, Mr. Presson wins fantasy football championships. 

Mike Fenn - Assistant Director

Michael Fenn, local man of mystery, is in his twenty-fifth year at Camdenton. He assists with the Pride of the Lake Marching Band, and is responsible for the third concert band, basketball pep band, and “teaches” music theory. At the middle school, he assists Amanda Fall with the eighth-grade band, and leads youngsters in the tremendous life choice of choosing either alto saxophone or French horn. 

Under the direction of Semi-Maestro Fenn, the concert band has received "I" ratings off and on for a while now - he honestly does not remember how long it has been. The basketball pep band is the talk of the town, if the town were made up of only people who went to basketball games, and cared that there was a band there.

Mr. Fenn received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Missouri State University (nee SMSU), graduating in 1999, and a Masters degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Engagement from Northwest Missouri State University in 2020. He is a member of the Missouri Bandmasters Association, the Missouri Music Educators Association, the National Association for Music Educators, the Totally-Awesome Boss Club, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

In his spare time, Michael loves to undermine all of his sister’s devious plans for Westeros and devise ways to get (and stay) out of the upside-down. He lives for the days when he can head out on another crazy adventure with his great-dane and three of his friends, solving mysteries and unmasking bad guys.

Tim Roettgen - Director of Fall Color Guard

Mr. Tim Roettgen graduated from Lincoln University (Jefferson City) in 1994 with a degree in English Education.  He also has a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri - Columbia and a master’s degree in School Counseling from Lincoln University.  Mr Roettgen began teaching English at Camdenton High School in 1999, and he became a School Counselor at Camdenton High School in 2011. He was nominated several times for Teacher of the Year, and won the honor in 2008. He has been in charge of the color guard at CHS since 1998.

Roettgen has been instructing and adjudicating in the color guard activity since 1988.  He was a member of the Madison Scouts Drum Corps in 1990 and 1991.  Mr. Roettgen aided in organizing the Mid Continent Color Guard Association in 1994 and served as the Chief Judge until 1999. He enjoys teaching new color guard members and improving their skills.  Mr. Roettgen is also the current designer/instructor for a small private high school in central Missouri.  Mr. Roettgen and his wife, Kerri, have three adult children, Claire, Blake, and Nick.  

Sarah Fuller - Director of Winter Color Guard

Sarah Fuller graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018 with a Bachelors in Mathematics and a Bachelors in Secondary Education. After graduating, she started working for the Camdenton School District as a middle school math teacher and assisting the Camdenton Color Guard. In 2020, Sarah moved to the high school to continue teaching math and working with the Camdenton Color Guard. 

Sarah Fuller was very happy to become involved in the Camdenton Color Guard in 2018 since Camdenton is her alma mater and she is a proud band nerd. She enjoys being able to rejoin the Camdenton band from the staff perspective where she can help mentor fellow band kids in what they love and achieve their goals. Sarah spends her free time playing board games with her family and friends, hanging out with her dog Theo, and watching FRIENDS on repeat. 

Lauren Zanaboni - Movement Specialist

Lauren Zanaboni is an alumni of the Camdenton Band program as has been a part of the instructional staff since 2018.  She has held many roles on the staff and recently took the position of Movement Specialist.  Her responsibilities include all dance programming for both the Fall Guard and Winter Guard, and she choreographs all band body work as well as developed a dance curriculum for the band students. 

She is currently completing her masters in clinical psychology from the University of Kentucky and plans to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. 

Lauren is also an instructor at Releve Dance Academy where she teaches a variety of styles and levels of dance once a week. 

In her free time Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and friends enjoying the Lake of The Ozarks. 

Olivia Hilton - Color Guard Instructor

Olivia Hilton graduated from Camdenton High School in 2020 and went on to graduate from Logan College of Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Human Biology in 2023. She is currently working to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO.

Olivia has previous experience as a dance instructor and studio owner as well as six seasons of color guard with extensive training in dance, flag, and rifle. She is a proud alumni of the Camdenton Band Program and enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion with the current color guard members.

In her free time, she enjoys watching Ted Lasso and spending time with her two fur babies, Nala (Dog) and Tali (Cat), as well as her fiancé.
